Ninjas, Olympics, and Martians?

Well nothing to exciting has happened since the last time I posted, but I made a sort of promise to myself to try posting at least once a day. I’ve been digging again and came across some cool stuff.

Yahtzee released another review, this time on Ninja Gaiden II. As always it was brutally honest, and pretty funny. Though one is left with the question, does he actually like the game or not? Check it out:

Some news on the Olympics:

Four protesters including two Britons have been detained in the Chinese capital after hanging Free Tibet banners close to the main Bird’s Nest stadium.

Rawr

So level 70 seems kind of boring. Been kicking around Nagrand farming stuff to sell stuff on the AH to make enough for the swift flier and possibly the swift flight form.

It’s spring time here, getting warmer, so I suppose it’s about time I change the header. I’m planning to work on a different design, possibly going through on my plans for a lighter layout.

Just a small update. I keep promising I’ll post more, and I could get sidetracked. Blame Warboards or Blizzforums, it’s easier to post a lot when there’s a community to argue with you =)

Banner Brawl

So I finished my work on the new banners for Warboards. Head on over there to check them out. Or rather, check it out in a few days, since AJ is off in California having fun with SC2. So whenever he gets a chance I’m sure they’ll get updated.

Anyway, they total 23, and there will be some additions, specifically a couple more Diablo ones but mostly I want to be add in some awesome Zerg ones to.

Pictures and Metroids

capmetSo I found the digital camera, it was basically sitting there staring at me. However instead of taking any pictures… I just kind of left it there. One of the reasons I don’t want to take some pictures of my new “digs” is mostly because I’m not sure if I want to keep it arranged the way it is at the moment.

In other news, I’ve been replaying Super Metroid. I’ve got to say that this game brings back some memories, and is still as creepy as ever. I would say that the atmosphere of the game is greatly enhanced by the sound track. There is just something that screams “CREEPY” or “LOOK OUT!” at times.

Final Fantasy Retro… Yo?

So I finally finished watching all of the Retrospectives just a little while ago. I really think they are a nice recap on the Final Fantasy Series… as well as others like Kingdom Hearts and such.

What I really enjoyed most was learning about the obscure titles or histories that I’ve never looked up or took the time to link together. The final Retrospective is very interesting, rather then reviewing a game, concludes the series with reviews of common themes and such.

My favorite Final Fantasy will always be VI, with IX coming in second. Though Chrono Trigger or Chrono Cross comes in there somewhere as well.
