This was one of the things that bothered me so much when I was first learning CSS. How in the world do you properly center things without using the outdated <center> tag? Well the answer is simple. And all it requires is some creative margin work and some easy to remember text-align’ing.

To center an entire layout with CSS you would add the following to your style sheet:

Welcome! This is the new design for Kupatrix. I’ll be tweaking it off and on over the next few weeks as I change things I don’t like, or add things I want. I tried to go with a minimal and clean look, as well as attempting that lighter design I’ve been posting about forever.

I’ve also fixed the ad issue, god-only knows why they were fubaring anyway.

I’ve also decided to actually use that Gallery thing I’ve got for photos! The first set is of Sadie, my awesome dog. Check out the side bar for the most recent photos.

Just a quick note. I know it seems awfully bland, but it’s just temporary as I start the redesign! So don’t mind the dust. When I get finished I intend to upload some more stuff from my “archives” as well as a couple of new remixes I’d like to share.

So I’ve been having the damnedest time trying to figure out my ads. I use a wordpress plugin called “Adsense Manager” but apparently I’ve been out of the loop to long. Google has apparently changed some of the backend on how ads are handled, so of course I’m at a loss.

It finally took me having to go into google and creating a new ad unit to replace an old one that was on the fritz. I’ve also had to turn off ads for the index page, I’m not sure why, but they refuse to target any content.

So as I fixed some strange design problems that I hadn’t come across until today I was listening to a couple of new remixes from OCRemix.

The first is a remix from Ragnarok Online. This game is so much fun, I used to play back in the alpha/beta days and now I hop from private server to private server whenever the urge hits me. There’s just something about engrish, cute characters, and colorful monsters that is just so fun.
